Transcripts
What is a transcript?
A transcript is a record of courses taken and the grades earned. Official transcripts are released only by request. A parent or student may request transcripts to be sent to colleges, universities or private organizations for the purpose of admission applications, athletic eligibility and/or scholarships.
Transcripts will only be released to third parties such as military recruiters or athletic staff at prospective universities if requested by the parent or adult student.
How do I view my unofficial transcript?
Students may access unofficial transcripts through their student Skyward account by clicking on the Portfolio tab.
General Transcript Information
Official transcripts are sent directly from Royse City High School to colleges, universities, businesses, and agencies.
Official transcripts for college applications are sent electronically through Parchment.
If the college does not accept transcripts electronically, the transcript will be mailed.
Students and parents can find a copy of the student's current transcript in their Skyward Family/Student Access account under the Portfolio tab.
Transcripts are updated in Skyward two times a year - once at the end of first semester and once at the end of second semester.
Transcripts do not include SAT, ACT, or AP test scores. Log into your College Board, ACT, account to send those scores electronically.
