Coming in 2027... Worthy Fate High School! A 36-member committee, including 12 students, convened in September with a goal to select the official school colors and mascot for the district's 2nd high school campus. After studying existing district and school brands, exploring a competitive logo analysis and reviewing five color combinations the group came to a consensus. The district’s second high school will be the Worthy Fate High School Wolverines with navy and vegas gold colors. WFHS will open with freshmen and sophomore students in its first year. School boundary zone development and input opportunities will occur in the next few months. As shared in a previous communication to all parents and staff regarding school brands:
- Royse City High School will remain the bulldogs with black and gold colors.
- Baley MS will remain the Bulldogs with black and gold. This is due to the fact that the campus previously served as the district’s high school.
- Summers MS will receive a new mascot and color scheme prior to 2026. Student input will be a priority.
- Magness Middle School will receive its individual mascot and color scheme prior to opening in 2026.
- Elementary campuses will not receive individualized mascots at this time as they already identify with their school namesake and established campus themes.
