It's National School Counseling Week! This special week highlights the essential contribution of school counselors and the tremendous impact they have in helping students achieve school success and plan for a career.
Royse City counselors are exceptional mentors, providing guidance, care and curriculum advice for our students and families at each of the district's 11 campuses.
Be sure to thank a counselor for their hard work and dedication to helping our students succeed! #NSCW25

Happy Friday! Here is the latest Scott Elementary Parent Newsletter with important dates and information!

Have a great weekend!

Scott Families - Due to the heavy rain we will only have the inside lane open this morning for the car drop off. We don't want students becoming soaked standing at the crosswalk waiting to cross. Please be patient with us as the line will be slightly longer.

Next Week is National School Counseling Week and we are excited to shower our amazing Counselor - Mrs. Keller - with notes and gifts of appreciation!
If you would like to show your appreciation ... attached is some of her favorite things!

Students were the first group to engage with district leadership on an upcoming district re-branding process. As the district grows and adds a second high school in 2027, Royse City ISD is developing a new brand identity and logo to both honor the past and signal the future. Watch for more updates on this exciting process!

Students were SO excited today with the addition of our new soccer goal set on the playground!
We want to give a huge shout out to our PTO and to the DeChant, Meza, Bryant, and Wheat families for donating the funds to purchase them! Thank you so much!

Thank you Nurse McGrath for the reminders!

We will have our Spring Safety Drills this morning. Our campus will not be accessible to visitors or late arrivals between 8:30-9:15am. The phones and front door will not be answered. Also, please note we will have additional security personnel on campus to assist with these drills. Thank you for understanding!

Thank you Summers MS counselors for coming over and sharing course selection information with our 5th grade students today!
Parents - be on the lookout for course selection information coming home soon!
