RCHS' Teacher of the Year, Lauren Jones, was honored at the Region 10 Teacher of the Year Luncheon in August for being named Royse City ISD's Secondary Teacher of the Year!


Royse City ISD is one of only 19 districts in the United States to receive the 2022-2023 Capturing Kids' Hearts National Showcase District award! CKH recognizes districts that go the extra mile each day to build an environment where students and staff feel safe and connected.


Bond 2021 Update: The Royse City College & Career Academy expansion at RCHS is very near complete. These new spaces will open up for students in August and feature many career and technical education programs. Former CTE spaces are currently being renovated for additional classroom space within the original footprint of RCHS. An open house opportunity will be announced soon for the RCCCA!

Online Required Schools Forms for all RCISD students will open on July in Family Access. If you do not know your Family Access login credentials, please email FamilyAccessSupport@rcisd.org and include your child’s name and campus. Using Family Access, parents will have real time data about their child’s grades, attendance, assignments and more. Alerts can be set to your individual preferences and the information is easily accessed using the Family Access at https://qweb.rcisd.org/StudentSTS/Session/Signin?area=Home&controller=Home&action=Index.
If you have a new child entering school this year, you can add them in your already existing Family Access account. For Family Access help or login credentials, please email FamilyAccessSupport@rcisd.org or contact Maria O’Connor at 972.635.5020. Be sure to include your name, your child’s name and the campus of attendance.
FAMILY ACCESS SUPPORT NIGHTS
Offered for families who need in-person support for Required School Forms. Held each Wednesday night from July 12 until August 9. Come and go event to allow parents to provide enrollment documents or recieve assistance with online forms. A notary will be available if needed.

Melinda Crook named RCHS House Principal! She joins Royse City ISD from Garland ISD where she serves as an Early College administrator. She holds a bachelor's degree from Midwestern State University and a master’s from Lamar University. She joins Principal Brooke McMaster and her team of administrators.




Mrs. Kelly Dean-Vasquez was honored for being RCHS Campus Support Staff of the Year. She is greatly appreciated amongst the staff family and student body.


2023 Royse City ISD Secondary Teacher of the Year is Lauren Jones of RCHS! She serves 9-12th grade students in the allied health field of study. Her amazing family was able to participate in today's surprise announcement. Mrs. Jones will represent Royse City ISD at the regional level. Congratulations!


Officials from Google visited Royse City ISD last week to learn about the Connected4Learning Programs at the secondary schools. Students met with Google Director of Sales & Partnerships for Google Education, Steven Butschi, as well as Google Rep Kimberly Clark. #RCISDJoy
